Accessibility
Last updated: September 24, 2026
MyQPortal, operated by EdQuiddity Inc., is committed to making its resources usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508.
Measures in place
- Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks, and a “skip to main content” link.
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators.
- Descriptive text alternatives for images and accessible names on all controls.
- Text transcripts for podcasts and transcripts plus captions for videos.
- Color contrast that meets the WCAG AA 4.5:1 minimum for text.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continue to review the platform and are addressing minor remaining items, including keyboard and labeling refinements within a few interactive lesson activities. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us—your feedback helps us prioritize.
