Reasons vs. Evidence: Learning Center

Learning centers are independent activities that guide students to grapple with core concepts and skills. This learning activity will help students explore the difference between reasons and evidence when constructing an argumentative writing piece and can be used with the PBL "Internet Filters: Helpful or Harmful?" This learning center involves multiple materials that would be best kept together in a folder. Notice the directions are clear and require the students to take action, which will decrease their need to ask for assistance from the teacher. Students can sign up for a period of time to complete the learning center and add it to their schedules.
