Privacy & Terms

Last updated: September 24, 2026

MyQPortal is operated by EdQuiddity Inc., featuring resources by IDE Corp. This page explains what information the service collects, how it is used, and the terms that apply when you use it. It is written for the educators and administrators who use MyQPortal.

Information we collect

Account information you or your organization provide: your name, email address, role, and the organization or school you belong to. Authentication information: a password you set, or, if you choose Sign in with Google, the name, email address, and profile that Google shares with your consent. We do not access any other data in your Google account. Usage information: the resources you view and the collections you create, so the service can offer features like “recently viewed” and saved collections. Organization-level usage reporting is available only where an organization opts in.

How we use information

To provide and secure the service, personalize your experience, respond to support requests, and—where an organization opts in—produce aggregate usage reporting for that organization’s administrators. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How information is shared

With service providers that host and run the platform (for example our database and hosting providers) under agreements that limit their use of the data. With your organization’s authorized administrators, who can see the accounts and, where enabled, the aggregate usage within their own organization. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention & your choices

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can review and update your account details when signed in. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact your organization administrator or EdQuiddity Inc. through edquiddity.com.

Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and protected with access controls. Two-factor authentication is required for administrator accounts.

Terms of use

MyQPortal is licensed to subscribing organizations and their authorized users for educational use. The resources in the library are provided for classroom and professional-development use; they and the platform remain the intellectual property of EdQuiddity Inc. and IDE Corp. You agree to use the service lawfully, to keep your credentials secure, and not to share account access outside the terms of your organization’s subscription. The service is provided on an “as available” basis; specific service commitments, if any, are set out in your organization’s agreement.
